Prof. Dilay Celebi Gonidis

Dr. Dilay Çelebi is a Senior Researcher at South-East European Research Centre (SEERC) and Professor of  Business Administration and Economics at the City College. Her research interest include logistics, supply chain management, transportation, and operations planning and modelling. Her bachelor degree is in Industrial Engineering of Middle East Technical University in 2000, and she completed her PhD studies in Management Engineering of ITU in 2008. Her thesis titled “Stochastic Lot Sizing in a Centralized Distribution Network” received 2008 Doctoral Dissertation Award from Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).

Dr. Çelebi worked as a leading consultant to various international organizations, including International Transport Forum at OECD and The World Bank, as well as private companies, public authorities and government institutions in support their operations planning and policy actions of transport and logistics planning.

She has more than 15 years of teaching experience in production management, operations research, decision analysis, and logistics planning and management, through a number of undergraduate and graduate level courses in various universities (e.g.  City College, ITU, Boğaziçi University, Eindhoven University of Technology, FOM Hochschule für Oekonomie & Management, Maltepe University).
