Ms Evgenia Kleidona is a PhD Candidate in American Literature and Culture, School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and holds an MA in Historical and Balkan Linguistics, a BA in Philology as well as a BA in English Language and Literature from the same University. Since 2006 she has been working as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Modern Greek Studies (Manolis Triandaphyllidis Foundation). Her research interests revolve around Linguistics, American Literature and Culture, and Gender Studies. Her participation in the project Urban Environments in Transition and in the Multimodal Group of the School of English (AUTh) has offered her the opportunity to both gain experience in teaching English as a Second Language and expand her interest in Digital Media and Video Games.
