Currently, I hold a part-time position as assistant professor in Economics at the Business Administration and Economics Department of the University of York, Europe Campus, CITY College in Thessaloniki (Greece) and at the Economics and Social Science Department of the Burgundy Business Scholl in Dijon (France).  Since 2018, I am a Research Fellow of the ReTrace project (ReTraCE (retrace-itn.eu) supported by Horizon 2020 EU’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks. In the framework of this project, I am currently supervising a Marie Curie-funded PhD candidate at the University of Sheffield. One of our goals is to identify the role of specific individual, idiosyncratic and demographic traits in the probability of an individual to accept and participate in the transition to a circular economy.

For two year (2019-2021) I was a full time Research Fellow at the GREDEG at the University Cote d’ Azur, Nice, France. My main responsibility was to study creativity leading to green innovation using quantitative (CIS dataset) and experimental data in the framework of a national interuniversity project funded by the French National Research Agency. I have been the primary researcher of several EU Research Framework projects (e.g. GriCRiS ,Epicurus, CRVMotives).

For the last 10 years, I teach Economics (Micro/Macro), Labour and Public Economics, Statistics and even Business Administration and Strategy in undergraduate and postgraduate levels in various private and public institutions in Greece and France, interacting with students from different cultures and educational backgrounds. In the past I have been a Senior Business Consultant/Economist in EXANDAS Consultancy, Thessaloniki and academic responsible for the project “The Teachers4Europe” funded by the European Commission in Greece. I was a Research Visitor at the department of Economics in the Georgetown University from March to June 2009, Washington DC, USA. Host scholar: Pr. Vella F.
