Expanding services & facilities for study and working
Responding to student feedback for an all-in-one-place study & working facility that remains open in extended hours, the Library – fully refurbished the former Silent Room returning it to use, as a reading room – open 7 days a week.
In the newly room, renamed as The Green Reading Room, users will find:
Service hours
Upgrading facilities for group work
To facilitate the increased need of students for additional space to work on their presentations and academic/industrial projects, the Library re-modeled and furnished a room which is now available upon advanced booking.
Booking cannot exceed two hours a day and no more than three per week by the same group.
Equipment
The Library increased the number of reading spaces, whilst maintaining accessibility of physical collections in the premises – to accommodate the needs of those students who need to have access to both space and books in the same place.
The Library will continually review the use and purpose of the spaces and facilities, listen to student feedback and proceed to changes, if needed.
