Below is a selected list of Open Access resources that have been funded, published, and licensed to be freely used, adapted, and distributed to the general public for study and research purposes.

 

General OA Collections

  • InTech Open Access Books – read, share and download more that 5,000 OA scientific titles
  • JSTOR – explore the growing collection of journals and ebooks
  • The OAPEN Library – offers access to freely accessible academic books mainly in the areas of social sciences and humanities.
  • Open Book Publishers – includes books that are freely available for everyone to read online, to download and to share.
  • Open Research Library –  is planned to include all Open Access book content worldwide on one platform for user-friendly discovery, offering a seamless experience navigating more than 20,000 Open Access books.
  • SpringerOpen – access to all freely available ebooks from Springer Publishers.

EBSCOhost eBooks

EBSCOHost ebooks: offers a selection of titles in a variety of subject areas, all with a user-friendly search experience and a simple download process. EBSCO eBooks are online versions of print books. Users can:

  • Download titles to mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads, laptops, PCs, etc.
  • Search within a book for specific subjects, words or phrases
  • Saveprint, or email chapters or sections of books.
  • Copy and paste portions of text for easy access during the research process.
  • Save notes to a personal folder with an EBSCOhost account.
  • Save a list of favorite books to a personal bookshelf.
  • Generate or export citations to bibliographic management tools.
