The MENTBEST programme, dedicated to enhancing mental health, was successfully presented by Professor Ana Vivas, who captivated the audience with her engaging presentation during the Opening Ceremony of the Alliance for Mental Health at Thessaloniki City Hall.
A panel discussion followed, moderated by Dr. Lina Gega, a Professor of Mental Health at the University of York. Together with esteemed panelists, she examined the obstacles and practical solutions for supporting the mental well-being of children and young people.
Additionally, Mr. Nikos Zacharis, Director of the South-East European Research Centre (SEERC), delivered an inspiring speech that articulated the Alliance's vision and underscored the significance of collaboration in addressing mental health issues.
The event attracted over 100 participants, including representatives from various organisations, mental health professionals, researchers, and engaged citizens, all eager to contribute to the conversation on mental health.
