Insightful Event on Breast Cancer Management by CITY College Psychology Department

The Psychology Department of CITY College, University of York Europe Campus organised a great event on ‘Breast Cancer: Manage and LIVE’, led by Dr Aristea Ladas, that took place on 24th November 2024 at our main campus in Thessaloniki.

Attendees gained valuable knowledge about the disease from various perspectives, including medical, personal experiences, awareness campaigns, yoga and pilates, aesthetic treatment, and medical tattooing. The audience was deeply moved by cancer survivors who shared their inspiring stories with humour and strength. All speakers emphasised the significance of positive psychology in the healing process.
