Research

At CITY College, within an environment that fosters independent thinking and expression, our academic staff – from our research centre, SEERC, and our academic departments - is highly devoted to research that serves the common good of society and is dedicated to the pursuit and dissemination of knowledge. We provide our researchers with the required support, time, and space to do this well. Developing and sustaining community-based research is an ongoing commitment within CITY College. We engage in academic research that is driven by community needs and is intended to be used by the society and we intend for our academics’ work to be responsive to real-world demands. Our research outcomes and data are fed back to society to contribute to the societal needs that each research project concerns. International research partnerships and collaborations enable our research community to broaden its span and better approach its outreach mission. Learning and teaching at CITY College is also informed by latest research, making new knowledge accessible to students, thus circulating research findings.
